« L’HISTOIRE DE LA SOCIÉTÉ ALLEMANDE DE MONTRÉAL »

Die Mitglieder und Freunde der Deutschen Gesellschaft sind herzlich zu einem Vortrag von Prof. Manuel Meune, Professor für Deutschstudien an der Université de Montréal, eingeladen. Er findet am Montag, den 10. April 2017, um 18:00 Uhr im Goethe Institut in Montreal statt.

Anhand Karin Gürttlers Buches zur Geschichte der Deutschen Gesellschaft von Montreal wird Prof. Manuel Meune die Entwicklung der Deutschen Gesellschaft und deren Rolle in der Geschichte Montreals beleuchten. Die Übersetzung dieses Buches ins Französische, die von Prof. Manuel Meune und einem Studententeam im letzten Sommer fertiggestellt wurde, wird ebenfalls vorgestellt.

Der Vortrag findet in Deutsch und Französisch statt.

Nach dem Vortrag lädt die Deutsche Gesellschaft zu Montreal zu einem kleinen Empfang ein.

« L’HISTOIRE DE LA SOCIÉTÉ ALLEMANDE DE MONTRÉAL »

Les membres et les amis de la Société allemande de Montréal sont cordialement invités à une conférence de Manuel Meune, professeur en études allemandes à l’Université de Montréal. La conférence aura lieu le lundi 10 avril 2017, à 18 h 00 au Goethe Institut à Montréal.

En se basant sur le livre de Karin Gürttler sur l’histoire de la Société allemande de Montréal, Manuel Meune présentera le développement de la Société Allemande et son importance dans l’histoire de Montréal. La traduction de ce livre en français, qui a été finalisée l’an dernier par Prof. Meune et un groupe d’étudiants, sera également présentée.

La conférence sera donnée en allemand et en français.

Après la conférence les participants sont invités par la Société Allemande de Montréal à une petite réception.

Invitation to the lecture
« L’HISTOIRE DE LA SOCIÉTÉ ALLEMANDE DE MONTRÉAL »

The members and friend of the German Society of Montreal are cordially invited to the lecture by Prof. Manuel Meune, professor in German studies at the  Université de Montréal. The conference will take place on Monday, April 10, 2017 at 6h00 pm at Goethe Institut in Montreal.

Based on Karin Gürttler’s book on the history of the German Society of Montréal, Prof. Manuel Meune will presenting the development of the German Society and its importance in the history of Montreal. The translation of the book into French, that has been completed by Prof. Meune and a team of students last year, will also be presented.

The lecture will be presented in German and French.

After the lecture the participants are invited by the German Society to a small reception.
